Our customer, Kyle Walton, was recently diagnosed with cancer. The mass doctors found last week, was a cancerous tumor that took up over half of his bladder. In addition to that tumor, two more tumors were located, removed and are being sent off to pathology for further testing. Due to the integration of the main tumor in his bladder, they were not confident they removed all the cancer and future surgeries may be required. In addition, Kyle will also be needing further imaging to ensure the cancer has not spread to other areas of his body.
The holidays are a tough time for the Walton family as they have been forced to navigate life without their daughter, Ellie, at their side. Ellie's 10th birthday is approaching, as well as the day of her passing, January 15th.
Kyle is the financial provider for the family as Sarah has been a stay-at-home Mom who takes two of their three children to multiple doctors’ appointments to tend to their ongoing medical needs. Kyle will physically be unable to work to provide for their family. Medical leave will be of some assistance; however, it is a small fraction of what their regular income has been.
